Moorhouse Chiropractic

Helping the Body Heal Itself

Your body is designed to move.  Dr. Moorhouse believes that there is a balance between your muscles, joints and nerves.  He is constantly trying to restore this balance by using different techniques.  This may be achieved through manipulation, massage, electrical stimulation, and/or stretching, or a combination of all of these. He believes that through this balance your body will function as it is designed.  His overall goal is to earn your trust as your chiropractor, and get you feeling better so you can get back to doing the things you love in as little time possible.

What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is an alternative health care method that treats mechanical disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system, with the intent of improving overall health.  Dr. Moorhouse sometimes likes to explain chiropractic care by comparing it to your hands.  Try performing the simplest task with two or three of your fingers tied together.  It is uncomfortable, not easy and frustrating.  This is what happens to your back and spine when you have joints that won’t move as they are designed. All of your body’s functions are relayed through your spinal column which makes it imperative that you keep your spine and all of its moving parts working as they should. If any of these moving parts becomes dysfunctional, it’s like your fingers being tied together resulting in pain, frustration and discomfort.  Long term dysfunction often leads to more serious health issues.  To learn more visit our FAQs.
